Azets, the UK's largest regional accountancy and business advisors to SMEs, has promoted Chris Dale to Regional Director for Research & Development and Innovation based Tax Services – an appointment that strengthens the offering of the firm to help many clients maximise their tax reliefs and credits. Formally Director of Tax, Chris is based in South Wales and has been with the firm for 2 years.

Within Azets, Chris will continue to work alongside the South West & Wales’ tax teams to support clients with evaluating their business tax needs and maximising relevant tax reliefs.

Having qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, Chris worked for PwC in their South Wales region for more than 15 years, working in the Assurance team before joining the Tax team where he initially focused on Corporate and Personal Tax compliance and advisory matters before specialising in R&D, Patent Box and Creative Sector tax reliefs, a service which Chris headed for the South West Wales region. Since joining Azets, Chris has developed this specialism to help many more clients maximise their tax relief/credits.
