Early Careers

Azets has been a really positive change for me, coming from a school environment to working in an office, I’ve found I enjoy being part of a team. I was scared coming into the job with absolutely no accounting knowledge but there’s been no judgement and I have always been given support when I need it. During the application process all the early careers staff were super helpful when I was nervous and asking silly questions, so I think my favourite part about Azets so far, has been all the people I work with.

What I’ve enjoyed about my time so far working in Internal Audit is the opportunity to work alongside various different organisations. This has allowed me to meet new people and gain an understanding to the different challenges each organisation faces within their respective environments and how we as internal auditors can help them.

When I started at Azets, I was given lots of support not only with the job but also with the professional qualification. Everyone is encouraging and friendly, they take the time to help you when you need it. The work I’m doing is challenging as no day is ever the same, which makes it interesting. Azets provides plenty of opportunities to learn and encourages people to use their initiative.
