After graduating in 1990, Zara trained and qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Haines Watts, where she became Partner before joining Azets in 2013 as Partner, following the merger with CW Fellowes Limited.
Zara’s portfolio includes a variety of corporate structures, including large groups, UK subsidiaries of UK and EU holding companies, SMEs and owner-managed firms as well as unincorporated businesses. Zara’s specialist sector expertise includes manufacturing, farming, healthcare, care homes, retail, advertising and automotive. Her role at Azets includes being an audit Responsible Individual and Senior Statutory Auditor.
Zara is a member of both the ICAEW Audit and Assurance Faculty and Financial Reporting Faculty. She is also the training partner for Azets' Southampton and Portsmouth offices, and a member of the Staff Committee and Training Group.
