Louise is a Partner. She is Head of Contentious Insolvency and specialises in high profile, fraudulent and litigious insolvencies, international asset tracing and civil and criminal recovery cases. She joined the firm in 2013 following a career that has spanned many years at PWC, Baker Tilly and Deloitte. At the latter, Louise was appointed Head of Contentious Insolvency team in Reorganisation Services, Deloitte and was previously Head of Special Investigations at Baker Tilly. Louise‘s portfolio includes cases of all sizes and sectors but more recently has been involved in a number of cases involving pay role fraud, covid related frauds and cases where Freezing Orders, Search Orders and extensive litigation both in the UK and internationally has been required. She has vast experience of insolvencies involving recovery of the proceeds of fraudulent activity, breach of directors duties, criminal recovery, provisional liquidations, court receivers, Trustee in Bankruptcy and Trustee in Civil Recovery and regularly acts for High profile individuals and businesses involved in complex litigation as well as HMRC, NCA, SFO and CPS. She has acted as Trustee in Bankruptcy in relation to Jonathan Aitken, Neil Hamilton, Kerry Katona, Bruce Grobbellaar, Nicholas Levene, Adam Faith. Colin Hendry and many more. Louise is a licensed insolvency practitioner as well as a board member for the IPA, was previously a non-executive director of the Insolvency Service Steering board and has been included in the Accountancy Age Top 20 Power Players list three times. She is the 2022 winner of the IPA "Insolvency Professional of the Year "(large firm)
